In 1936 the wool was pulled over the eyes of the world as the Olympic Games were hosted in the Olympiastadion, Berlin whilst elsewhere in Germany terrible atrocities were being planned and carried out.
The Olympiastadion holds 74,500 seated. It would take approximately 1000 Olympiastadion’s to hold all those who died in WWII. With the estimate ranging from 62 to 78 million.
Of those, more than 650 stadiums would be for the civilians who died as a result of the war. An estimated 37,585,300 to 55,207,000 people.
